Depth Audit (is it actually done?)

Independent verification of a claimed-complete build, looking for hollow tests, simulated critical paths and work marked done without evidence.

A bright finished-looking service entrance is cut open to show an almost empty operating space. Beside it, a smaller working cutaway has connected data, monitoring and recovery machinery.

Discuss this engagement

Constructed handover specimen · not a client finding

A green submission test that never submits

Trigger
The build claims that a document can be submitted and its receipt retained.
What you receive
The finding shows that the test substitutes a successful response before the external boundary. A rejection, timeout and retry remain unexercised.
Decision supported
Verdict: the stated acceptance condition is not evidenced. The report names the reproduction, consequence and exact missing check; it does not silently mark the whole product unusable.

Who it is for

Sponsors who need an independent answer to ‘is this actually finished?’

The work
We start from the acceptance contract, reproduce the claimed evidence and look deliberately for hollow checks, simulated critical paths, missing depth and ways the build can pass while remaining incomplete.
The boundary
We report findings and a verdict. If you want us to fix what we find, that is a separate proposal and your decision; the audit does not silently become a build contract.

What you receive

A findings ledger with reproduction steps, severity and evidence, plus a verdict for every acceptance criterion.
