Cookies and browser storage
What this site stores in a visitor's browser, including colour preference, referral details, Cloudflare analytics and form protection.
What the site itself stores
Our own site code does not set an advertising cookie. It uses your browser’s local storage for two stated purposes: zd-theme remembers whether you selected the light or dark view; the enquiry form stores first-touch referral parameters so they can accompany a form you choose to send. Neither value is a customer account or a cross-site advertising identifier. Clear this site’s browser data to remove them. If you do not use the forms, no enquiry is sent to Zero Drift.
Cloudflare Web Analytics supplies aggregate site measurements without using cookies or local storage to collect usage metrics. The site does not install a second analytics beacon. Cloudflare also provides hosting and Turnstile protection on enquiry forms; its challenge or edge systems may use security-related browser storage. We cannot honestly promise that a visitor’s browser will never receive a provider cookie under every challenge condition.
Why this page says “browser storage”, not just “cookies”
The ICO’s current guidance treats local storage, cookies and similar device storage under the same broad rules. A claim of “no cookies” would therefore hide the two local-storage values this site actually writes. This page is the operational inventory, not a claim that every possible provider challenge has been audited on every device.
If you need an enquiry route without the embedded form or want to ask about any storage you observed, email [email protected]. Our privacy notice explains how submitted information is handled.
